Fueling Fun: A Toddler-Friendly Smoothie to Try at Home

Sipping smoothies - a recipe for fun and wellbeing!

We had an exciting time during Active Week back in May learning about how to stay fit and healthy!

The week included lots of different fun activities. One of the highlights of the week was our little learners making their own fruit smoothies! The children loved choosing ingredients, helping to blend, and (of course) tasting their colourful creations. It was a great way to explore healthy eating in a fun, hands-on way.

Here’s a simple toddler and baby-friendly smoothie recipe to try at home:

Berry Banana Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • A small handful of mixed berries (fresh or frozen) - our favourites are blueberries and strawberries
  • 100ml of milk (or a dairy-free alternative)
  • Optional: a spoonful of plain yoghurt or oats for added texture

Simply blend until smooth - and enjoy! You can swap berries for mango, peach, or even steamed carrot for a twist.

Thank you to all our families for supporting Active Week - we loved seeing our little ones shine!
